David Lloyd George, Welsh lawyer and politician, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (d. 1945) was born on January 17, 1863.

David Lloyd George, 1st Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, was a British statesman and Liberal Party politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1916 to 1922. The last Liberal to hold the post of prime minister, he held the office during the final two years of the First World War and led the British delegation at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference.
